Highly Scented Good for Exhibition RHS Award of Garden Merit Spencer Type Sweet Pea Percy Thrower is a well scented Spencer type. It produces blooms which are lilac flush opening to cream. The flowers produced are large flowers on vigourously strong stems, which makes them a good choice for the show bench. It also has the RHS Award of Garden Merit. We recommend sowing sweet pea seeds into a good quality seed sowing compost and water with tap water rather than water from a water butt. Butt water can contain harmful pathogens, resulting in poor germination.
