Flagship is a well scented, Spencer type sweet pea with medium blooms that are strong dark blue, almost purple with distinctive veining running through the petals.

Kings seeds recommend sowing seeds into a good quality seed sowing compost and water only with tap water. Do not use butt water as this can contain harmful pathogens, resulting in poor germination.

When to Sow Flagship Sweet Pea Seeds
September to April
Where to Sow
If sowing Sweet peas in September, sow direct in the flowering site 2cm (3/4") deep.
Later sowings can be made in pots, 5 seeds in each. Keep October and November and March sowings in a cold frame, and January and February sowings in a heated glasshouse. April sowings direct to flowering site.
What to do Next
Glasshouse raised seedlings should be hardened off during March. Plant out pot grown seedlings in the flowering site 15cm (6") apart in April. Thin direct sown seedlings to 10cm (4") apart. Pick flowers regularly to encourage new growth.
Late June to September
Provide sturdy support for plants. After a good rain a mature plant will be heavy.
