Welcome to Kings Seeds, a leading supplier of vegetable seeds, flowers seeds, organic vegetable seeds, herbs seeds, Sweet Pea seeds, soft fruit and various Plug plants, from the traditional home of the British seed industry, in Kelvedon, who have been supplying commercial & retail growers since 1888. Essex has been the centre of English seed production for many centuries. Its climate and rainfall are ideal for raising plants and taking them through the growing cycle to obtain the highest quality of seed. We like to think we have survived this long as all our seeds are tested in our own laboratory, by a qualified technician, for germination, vigour and purity, before being packed and distributed worldwide.

Catalogue packaging & plug plant packaging:

All the plug plant packaging is made from recycled plastic and can be recycled again. The Polythene wrap we have around our catalogue is 100% recyclable, it's also quicker to degrade than standard poly and has 95% less waste material. We have considered sending the catalogue without the polythene but we are concerned with the condition the catalogue would arrive in, i.e possibility of it getting wet/ damaged whilst in the postal system. We are in the process of looking at plant based films and hope to be trialling these films on our machines in the future… Polylite™ is guaranteed to reduce carbon footprint.
