Radish Seeds

The thought of sowing radish seed brings back childhood memories for countless gardeners who were given this vegetable to grow as an introduction to gardening. Probably the easiest and quickest vegetable to grow. We have a range of spring and summer varieties, along with winter varieties and Mooli radish, which is grown for its tasty seed pods. Radish also comes in a variety of colours, white, pink or bright purple. Take a look at our Bluemoon radish!
Summer radish can be sown from March to September in shallow drills 1.5cm deep and with 15-30cm between each row. During the hot weather, water the base of the seeds before sowing, and then cover with dry soil. Sow a few seeds in any spare area for a quick crop. The radish will be ready to harvest in approximately 4 weeks from sowing.
Winter varieties can be sown in July and August and harvested as required during the winter months.
