Large white flowers surrounded by lacy cloud like green foliage. Flowers June to August. Height 60cm. A delicate and graceful bloom that is the flower arrangers favourite. Quickly becoming a popular cut flower for wedding uses, either in bouquets or for general venue decorations.

When to Sow Covent Garden Gypsophila Seeds

March to June, or September to October.

Where to Sow

Sow direct into flowering site 1cm (½") deep. Rake in or cover lightly with fine soil.

What to do Next

As the seedlings develop, thin out to 20-30cm (8-12") apart to avoid overcrowding. Can also be sown in September to flower the following year.

Handy Tip

As the stems are quite delicate the addition of support can be a benefit. Makes a nice backdrop to bolder coloured flowers.
