Plant 3 plants per grow bag or one plant per 25cm pot. Alternatively, if planting in border soil, space out leaving a gap of 38cm between each plant. Transplant to the greenhouse border soil, or individual large pots when the plants have reached a height of 20cm. Ensure they are kept well watered. They can also be planted outdoors once the risk of frost has passed. With beefsteak varieties, we suggest that you only allow 3 or 4 trusses to develop per plant, as they can get very heavy. It is also advisable to tie up the trusses so they do not break under the weight of the tomatoes.
Harvest July to October.
