Planting Distance

Leave a space of 10cm (4in) between each plant, and leave 30cm (12in) apart between each row.

Growing Instructions

Plant into well watered soil in a sunny position. Plant as multisown plugs for smaller beetroots. Gradually thin to a single beetroot per station as the roots become large enough to eat once they reach 5cm (2in) in diameter. Leave the remaining roots to get larger for harvesting later as required.
The smaller roots will have a sweeter flavour.
