When to Sow Bubbly Pink F1 Digitalis Seeds

Sow from March to June or August to September.

Flowers

July to September

Where to Sow

Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost and cover with a very light sprinkling of vermiculite. Place sown container in a propagator or a warm place at a temperature of 15-20°C (59-68°F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination.

What to do Next

When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into pots and trays. Plant out into borders when plants are large enough in the late autumn after sowing, or over-winter plants in a cold frame and plant out in the spring.

Handy Tip

Autumn sowings will flower sooner the following year.
