Sow seed into pots or trays in a greenhouse or on a windowsill at 18-21C. Lightly cover the seed with vermiculite and keep slightly moist but not over wet.
Transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Then once plants are large enough to handle, gradually harden off before planting outside into borders at 30 x 30cm (12x12in) spacings.
Plant a few of these flowers dotted in a border, and these unusual flowers are sure to create interest.
