When to Sow Giant Exhibition Seeds

February to April. Germinates in 7-21 days.

Where to Sow

Early sowings in individual pots in glasshouse or cold frame. Direct sowings in growing site, 5cm deep in double rows 20cm apart.

What to do next

Glasshouse seedlings should be transplanted to the growing site in March, 10cm apart in double rows 20cm apart. Outdoor sowings should be thinned 10cm apart, the thinning's can be transplanted to make extra rows.

Handy Tip

When the first pods have set, pinch out the top 6cm (3") to discourage blackfly.
