Antirrhinum majus Twinny Peach F1

Description

The first semi-double hybrid antirrhinum on the market - AAS AWARD WINNER.

Outstanding garden performance in all weather conditions. Dwarf bushy, basal branching plants become smothered in beautiful double blooms. As the blooms are tightly furled, the bees find it difficult to enter for pollination, resulting in longer lasting displays in borders or containers.

Attractive shades of peach.

WHEN TO SOW

February to March.

WHERE TO SOW

Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C (68-77°F). After sowing, do not cover as the light helps germination which usually takes 10-21 days.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, 30cm (12") apart in well drained soil in full sun.

FLOWERS

June to September

HANDY TIP

Cut back the flowering stems after flowering to encourage new growth and a second display.
