Additional Details

When to Sow Everlasting Sweet Pea Seeds

Sow from January to March or September to November.

Where to Sow

Sow Everlasting Sweet Peas undercover into pots or trays of seed sowing compost, covering the seed to its own depth. Keep at a temperature of 18-20°C (65-70°F) until after germination, which usually takes 7-21 days.

What to do Next

Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots. Harden off and plant out when all risk of frost has passed, 30cm (12") apart. Autumn sown plants should be overwintered in a coldframe for planting out the following spring.

Flowers

July to September. As this is 'Everlasting', it will come back year after year.

Height

This is a climbing perennial that will reach 2.5m (8'3"). Provide some form of trellis, wires or netting support for plants to climb up and disguise fencing or walls.
