Chive Seeds

Chive seeds grow into low-maintenance, perennial herbs. They have a mild onion flavour which is used in many dishes. As well as being popular for their taste, they also produce attractive pink pompom like flowers which are also edible. Chive seeds are best sown in early spring in moist soil, in a sunny or partially shaded position.
Plant Chives with roses to protect roses from fungal diseases and camouflaging the often bare lower branches.
