Metros powdery mildew resistance helps support the improved sugar taste, making this variety of squash an increasingly popular choice with most gardeners.

If harvested when young you can peel with a knife or potato peeler, but if left until fully mature they do go as hard as a brick, and can only be cut into with a Saw or a chopper and hammer!! Mary Berry was mentioning that she had problems getting into them if fruits fully mature.
