Description

Mallow Musk has delicate large rose pink flowers (sometimes white) and decorative finely cut foliage. This wildflower is a colourful garden subject, making it a great addition for flower meadows and in cottage gardens. The root has similar properties to common mallow.
Habitat: old pastures and waysides. Height 60cm.
Herbeceous perennial attractive to butterflies and caterpillars.

Where to Sow Mallow Musk Seeds

Sow outside in the spring. Good in sun in any good fertile soil. Flowers from July to September.

Medicinal Uses of Mallow Musk
Has the same properties as Common Mallow but both have been superseded medicinaly by the Marsh Mallow. Used for coughs and bronchitis and irritation of the gastro intestinal system.
