Description


Shiny rose petals veined purple. Leaves heart shaped. Said to be aphrodisiac! A tea is beneficial for coughs and bronchitis.The leaves are eaten in Arab countries. Juice from the leaves of mallow is beneficial against the ill-effects of bee stings. Habitat: waste ground and roadside. Height: variable. Perennial wildflower.

When to Transplant

Thin out seedlings as they grow to 5cm apart.  Plant out during September and October spacing 30cm apart for flowering throughout the following summer.
