A companion to Lemon Balm, Mandarina has a pronounced orange scent. A slightly trailing habit, and bushy, ideal for containers or as ground cover. Use in Herbal teas, or add young fresh leaves to salads.

When to Sow Orange Balm Seed: Sow March to May

Plant Out - April to May

Harvest - June to October

Sow Outside in spring in shallow seed drills, keeping watered during dry weather. Germi-nation may be erratic.                                                      

Alternatively Sow in Pots in doors at a temperature of 15-20C. Thin out direct sown seed-lings or transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle. Grow on and plant in well prepared soil or containers in a sunny position.

Harvest -Fresh leaves for drying at any time. Pick young leaves before the sun gets too hot and add to summer drinks.
