Hardly ever seen in the shops nowadays, greengages are among the best flavoured fruits in the world. Although remaining green for most of the season, the fruits ripen to a magnificent golden yellow and become wonderfully sweet and juicy. Because of the sweetness, these fruits are great for using in desserts. Greengages require pollination. Plum Victoria will do the job marvellously - planted together they make the ideal mini stone fruit orchard.

PLEASE NOTE: Bare root trees will have the roots wrapped with sufficient soil to keep them moist and healthy during postage. ALL our trees are supplied whilst dormant. They have been carefully lifted and placed in a cold store until despatch. Alll bare-rooted trees will benefit by being placed in a bucket of water for 24 hours before planting, no matter what the weather is like.
