Villa Roma Sweet Pea Seeds
Villa Roma is a special dwarf variety of sweet pea, which is ideal for tubs and hanging baskets as well as bedding, with a wonderful perfume.
Fleuroselect gold medal winnder, Villa Roma Scarlet is a very compact, bushy strain which produces rich scarlet blooms that if dead headed regularly, they will flower over a long period.
Height: 30cm (12").
Kings seeds recommend sowing seeds into a good quality seed sowing compost and water only with tap water. Do not use butt water as this can contain harmful pathogens, resulting in poor germination.

September to April
Where to Sow
Sow sweet pea seeds direct into the flowering site in September, 2cm (3.4") deep.
Later sowings in pots, 5 seeds in each.
Place October and November and March sowings in a cold frame, and January sowings in a heated glasshouse.
April sowings direct to flowering site.
What to do Next
Glasshouse raised seedlings should be hardened off during March before planting out in April. Plant out pot grown seedlings in the flowering site 15cm (6") apart in April. Thin direct sown seedlings to 10cm (4") apart. Pinch out the tops to encourage side shoots for the promotion of greater flower production.
Late June to September
Provide sturdy support for plants. They will be heavy with rain.
