Sow indoors at 18-21°C. It will take about 7-10 days to germinate. Avoid excessive temperatures as this can prevent germination.
Thin out or prick off seedlings when about 5cm tall into trays spacing 5cm (2") apart or into individual pots. Grow on until plants are about 8cm tall and then plant out into permanent site in late August and early September.
Flowers may die back during very cold winters but will start flowering again as soon as weather conditions imporve. Sow in August for winter flowering.
