This variety of Cosmos have unusual tubular shaped flowers similar to a sea shell. Available in a mix of attractive colours, adding interest to borders. Great for attracting bees, butterflies and hoverflies to the garden. Deadhead regularly to encourage new growth for a summer-long display.

Where to Sow

Sow in trays of moist seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm place and keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C.

What to do Next

Prick off glasshouse seedlings into trays when large enough to handle 10cm (4") apart. Gradually harden off before planting out in May 30-45cm (12-18") apart once all risk of frost has passed.
