Grow Mad, David and Claire came to visit Kings Seeds earlier this year. They had a look around our warehouses where the seeds are packed, cleaned, graded and stored, had a chance to explore our own in-house laboratory where our seeds are tested by our qualified analysts for germination, purity and vigour, and watched our seed machines work their magic.

If you haven’t heard of GrowMad - “Home of The Home Gardener”, it is a free, UK-based online hub for all things allotment and kitchen gardening. Created by David (and inspired by his father Ronnie), it consolidates gardening advice, guides, jargon busters, many product directories and reviews for gardeners of all levels. It also provides some great articles related to disabled gardening from Mark, their disabled gardening ambassador.
Claire is their science techie, providing great science-based articles about the food that your grow, soil health and providing nutritional information in their online Science Lab.
GrowMad can be hired for expert talks at events, or consultancy on topics like soil science, crop planning or smallholding design.
