No garden display is every really complete without the addition of Salvias. Traditionally, these have bright red flower spikes, but now they are available in a wide variety of colours to create new exiting schemes. Sow Salvia seeds from February to March, and they will flower from July onwards. As Salvias are part of the mint family, many varieties have a pleasant scent.
