Japanese Green Mizuna

Description

Mizuna are attractive dark green leaves on long white stems. You can use them uncooked in salads or add to a stir-fry. It has a bitter peppery-like taste to it. Mizuna seeds are great as they can be sown all year round! They prefer fertile soil and light shade.

The interest in what we have classed liberally as "Oriental Vegetables" increases every year. They can be used raw in salads, or lightly cooked for use in stir frys and numerous Chinese style meals. We hope you will be tempted to give something different a try.
