When to Sow Seabrooks Fantasia Sweet Pea Seeds

September to April

Flowers

Late June to September

Where to Sow

Sow April and September sowings in to the flowering site 2cm (3.4") deep. Sow later sowings in pots 5 seeds in each. October and November sowings in a cold frame. January sowings in a heated glasshouse. March sowings in a cold frame.

What to do Next

Glasshouse raised seedlings should be hardened off during March before planting out. In April, pot grown seedlings can be planted out to the flowering site at 15cm (6") apart in April. Thin direct sown seedlings to 10cm (4") apart. Pick flowers regularly to encourage new growth.

Handy Tip

Provide sturdy support for plants as after a good rain, a mature plant will be heavy.
