Eschscholzia Seeds

These flowers are often called Californian Poppies, or Eschscholzia Californica. They are annual flowers that will add a pop of colour to the front of borders throughout the summer months from July to September. Usually found in shades or reds, oranges and yellows with fern-like foliage. You can also cut the stems when the buds are blooming and use as a cut flower.
How to Sow Californian Poppy Seeds
Sow Eschscholzia seeds in March to May in full sun. Sow outside, direct into the flowering site at 1.5cm deep. Seedlings will appear within 3-4 weeks from sowing. Thin out to prevent overcrowding and water well. These flowers are tolerant to drought so they grow well in dry, sunny areas. They will flower from July to September.
We also have a range of poppy seeds.
