Kings Seeds VIP Press Day 19 June 2013

Preparations are now well underway for our first ever VIP press day to be held here at our Head Office and farm at Kelvedon, Essex on Thursday 11th June.

We have invited the top horticultural press, garden writers, editors and photographers to join us from 10.00am, to celebrate Kings Seeds 125 years of seed retailing (and of course our recent Gold Medal win at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show!).

Hopefully our amazing Sweet Pea fields should be in their full glory by then, offering some perfect photographic opportunities.



Plus we have some invited interesting Celeb guests to meet, including Jamie Butterworth, BBC Young Gardener of the Year finalist and Katherine Crouch, BBC Gardener of the Decade (and gold medal winning stand designer of our Chelsea stand). We are also hoping to have renown author Dr Hessayon popping along, with his new "Garden Expert" book.



Whilst we are fortunate in getting many new customers through word of mouth and recommendation which is great, we so also rely on building good relationships with the press, to help us create awareness and promote our products. Hence press days like the one next month are vital to keep Kings Seeds top of mind in an increasingly competitive market place. We are very proud of what we have achieved and hope we are around in another 125 years time!
