A very rare native and one of our loveliest wild flowers. Silky purple flowers April-May and greyish ragged foliage. A tincture is used to treat coughs, bronchitis, asthma. Used as a nervine also. A valuable homeopathic remedy. Habitat: old chalky heaths.
