Description The long, mid-green pods with white seeds hang in numerous clusters, and are both smooth and stringless. the result is a delicious vegetable, which can be sliced or eaten whole. The pure white flowers are less prine to being picked by birds, so the resulting crop is much greater.

Under protection in modules or pots or Early sowings in the growing site 15cm (6") apart 2 seeds 5cm (2") deep to each station with 60cm (24") between rows under cloches. Later sowings will not require cover.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Glasshouse seedlings should be gradually hardened off before planting outside in late May to the spacing above with a support cane at each planting station. Reduce outside sowings to single plants. Circular plantings can be made with canes joined at the centre to form a wigwam with 2 or 3 plants per cane.

Always crop the beans regularly, even if not required, keep picking or the pods left will reduce the new growth and shorten the season.
