Sow the seeds edgewise 2cm (3/4") deep in individual 9cm (3 1/2") pots under glass at a constant day and night
temperature of approx. 24oC.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
After 3 weeks the temperature can be lowered to 16oC. As soon s the seedlings have formed rough leaves transplant into 15cm (6") pots. When the plants are about 10cm (4") tall, plant out in grow bags or glasshouse border. Provide support for plants and the resultant fruits.
HANDY TIP
The fruits need support individually as they mature. A top dressing of nitrogen fertilizer will encourage abundant growth. Pick fruits as they ripen to encourage further development.
