Celery Victoria F1 Description:
Mid green colour, tall with fleshy petioles. One of the best flavoured celery varieties available which is self blanching. Quick growing and has a good standing ability. Early to mid season production. Grows where traditionally difficult.

WHEN TO SOW
March to April

 

WHERE TO SOW  

Sow the fine seed thinly in pots or trays under glass at 18°C. Leave seed on top of compost, do not cover.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

As soon as seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. When seedlings are 7-10cm tall, gradually harden off before planting out 20cm (8") apart.

August to November

HANDY TIP

Celery requires very regular watering throughout the summer. Weak foliar feeding is beneficial.

High in sodium & potassium traditionally used as diurectic.
