Also called th onion squash because of its shape. Bright orange skin and flesh with a lovely nutty flavour. Late summer maturity. Plants need 100cm.

WHEN TO SOW
April to MAy

WHERE TO SOW
Sow 2 or 3 seeds into 7cm pots in the greenhouse at 20^oC. Late May sowings can be made by placing seeds 5cm apart direct into soil in old frame.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

As soon as seedlings have produced 2 rough leaves prick off into individual 7cm pots. GRadually harden off before planting outside 90cm apart in late May or early June. Cold frame sowings can be gradually hardened off before planting.

October, no later than first frosts
COMMENTS
Store in war dry place if possible. Trailing habit allow lots of space. Fruits are bright orange onion shaped.
