Fennel Romanesco ORGANIC SEED (Feoniculum vulgare Mill)

Description:
Big round bulbs weighing between 500g and 1000g. High bolting resistance and best grown for late cropping. 150 SEEDS Sow the seeds in the growing site from April onwards. Cover early sowings with cloches, in rows 30cm apart, thin the seedlings to 30cm apart as soon as possible. Fennel dislikes root disturbance and needs plenty of moisture during the growing season. First crops should be reqady after about 14-16 weeks.

OUTDOORS
Sow direct into the growing site 1cm deep in shallow drills. Fennel should be not be transplanted. Thin the seedlings as soon as they are large enough to handle to 20-25cm apart. The bulbs will be ready about September but the leaves may be harvested for flavouring from June.
