Primula Vialii Description:
One of the most beautiful of all primulas. Cone shaped inflorescence on strong stems. The flowers open from the bottom and when closed are carmine red and lilac pink when opened. Quite superb. Height 30-45cm.

WHEN TO SOW
Mid-May to late July
WHERE TO SOW
These seeds need stratification to start germination. To obtain this keep the seed tray warm for 2-3 weeks followed by temperatures of 2-4°C for 4-5 weeks, keep cool germinated.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT
When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into pots and grow on until ready for planting out.
