WHERE TO SOW

Sow in pots or trays under glass at 18 ° C just covering with sieved compost. Later sowings in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays or pots 5cm (2") apart. Gradually harden off before planting out in the flowering site 25cm (10") apart during May.

June to September

HANDY TIP

Can be sown in August or September in a cold frame for planting out and flowering the following year.
