WHEN TO SOW

February to April
WHERE TO SOW

Sow in pots or trays in a good seed compost under glass at 24-25 ° C. Cover with glass or polythene to maintain humidity.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

As soon as seedlings emerge, remove cover. When the seedlings are about 4cm (1½") tall, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart or individually into pots. Grow on and gradually harden off before planting out 0-40cm (12-16") apart in May.

HANDY TIP

As well as bedding and containers, Impatiens make beautiful house plants. Pinching out growing points encourages more bushy growth.
