Strap like dark green leaves which are evergreen in habit but during July to September it bears umbels of bell shaped blue flowers. Height 75-90cm.

WHEN TO SOW
Early April to early June
WHERE TO SOW
In open ground or cold frame. Cover seeds lightly, grow at 20-25oC and keep moist but not wet. Germinates in 3-12 weeks.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT
Thin out seedlings as they grow to 5cm apart. Plant out during September and October spacing 30cm apart for flowering throughout the following summer
