Hardy Biennial Height 1.3m (4'-0") Spread 90cm (3'-0"). Long bluish-green leaves grow around each tall flower spike. The top of each stalk is much branched with many yellow flowers which turn into large, flat, blue-black, decorative seed heads.

In shallow drills, spacing the seed. Lightly cover with soil and water well. Transplant to growing site, which should be rich, well cultivated and in full sun, when large enough to handle.
