WHEN TO SOW March to June. WHERE TO SOW Sow direct in the growing site 2cm deep in rows 35-40cm apart. March sowings can be made under cloches. WHAT TO DO NEXT Do not transplant. As soon as the first rough leaves appear, thin to 8cm apart and gradually thin to 15cm apart. It is possible to leave until the size of a golf ball and pull alternate plants to maximise the crop. MATURITY Late June to September. HANDY TIP Not a storing variety and best when pulled young, so short rows sown regularly is the best method. |
