WHEN TO SOW
January to March
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds in trays 2cm apart, or individually into module cells, under glass at 18°C. Cover with glass or polythene to retain humidity.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Remove cover as soon as first seedlings appear. Once leaves have opened, prick off tray seedlings into 9cm pots. When the first flowers are forming, transplant into growing position. Stake plants for support and remove side shoots as they appear.
MATURITY
July onwards
HANDY TIP
Water regularly to avoid split fruit and blossom end rot. Shade inside plants in mid summer. Feed with good quality Tomato feed after first truss is set. |
