Open ground in rows 3/4in (2cm) deep.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT
Thin out seedlings as they grow to about 6ins (15cm) apart. Replant thinnings into separate bed using same spacings. Plants should then be thinned out to 12ins (30cm) apart.
MATURITY
First heads should be ready for cutting within eight weeks of sowing |
