WHEN TO SOW February to August. WHERE TO SOW Sow thinly in shallow drills 1cm deep with 15cm between rows. WHAT TO DO NEXT Radish plants do not require transplanting and, if sown carefully, thinning is not necessary. Sow a few seeds in any spare area for a quick crop. MATURITY Roots should be ready to pull about 4 weeks after sowing. HANDY TIP Early sowings can be made in glasshouse, cold frame or under cloches. The roots hold their quality once mature. |
