WHEN TO SOW
February to May.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds edgewise 2cm deep in individual 9cm popts under glass at a constant day and night temperature of 21ƒC.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
After 3 weeks, temperature can be lowered to 16ƒC. As soon as seedlings have formed rough leaves, transplant into 15cm pots. When the plants are about 10cm tall, plant out in growbags or glasshouse border. Provide support for plants and the resultant fruits.
MATURITY
First fruits should be ready about 20 weeks after sowing.
HANDY TIP
The fruits need support individually as they mature, orange nets attached to the main supports are ideal.
