WHEN TO SOW
March to June.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds thinly in shallow drills 2cm deep. Early sowings can be made in cold frames or under cloches.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Thin the seedlings as they appear to 15cm apart. The thinned seedlings can be transplanted into a separate bed 15cm apart. As the plants grow, pull and use alternate plants.
MATURITY
First heads should be ready 8-10 weeks after sowing.
HANDY TIP
As this variety takes up so little space, it can be grown in a window box or grow bag. |
