WHEN TO SOW
End of March to early June.
WHERE TO SOW
Open ground in rows æ in (2cm) deep.
WHEN TO TRANSPLANT
Thin out seedling as they grow to about 6 ins (15cm) apart. Replant thinnings into separate bed using same spacings. Plants should then be thinned out to 12 ins (30cm) apart.
MATURITY
First heads should be ready for cutting within eight weeks of sowing. |
