March to July.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow thinly in drills 2cm deep with 30cm between rows.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Thin out the seedlings as they grow to an eventual spacing of 35cm. Thinnings can be used in salads.
MATURITY
Ready for cutting 8-10 weeks after sowing.
HANDY TIP
If space is limited, small blocks of broadcast seed can be sown and cropped by picking leaves as required. |
