An alternative to water cress. Does not need copious water as it is grown under normal conditions. Strong flavour like water cress. Sow the seeds 1cm deep in rows 30cm apart in March for summer use, in September for winter cuttings. Prefers a shady spot and watering in dry spells. 1000 PLANTS

March to July and September.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow thinly in shallow drills direct into growing site.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When seedlings are large enough to handle thin out to 15cm apart.
MATURITY
June onwards.
HANDY TIP
Prefers shady site. Pick as young leaves or whole plant. Sow at regular intervals to ensure a continuous supply of fresh young leaves.
