WHEN TO SOW
February and March.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds thinly in trays or modules in a good compost under glass at 15ƒC. Cover lightly with compost.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
As soon as the seedlings are large enough to handle they should be pricked off into trays 5cm apart. Thin module sowings to one seedling per cell. Harden off gradually before planting out in April 40cm apart.
MATURITY
June to early September.
HANDY TIP
A good variety for gardens with some exposure, as the short plants, if firmly bedded in, should miss the worse of the winds. |
