WHEN TO SOW April and May. WHERE TO SOW Sow the seeds thinly in a well prepared seed bed outside, 2cm deep with 15cm between rows. WHAT TO DO NEXT As soon as possible, thin seedlings to 10cm apart. When the seedlings have formed 5 or 6 leaves, transplant, taking as much soil as possible into the growing site, 60cm apart in rows 75cm apart. MATURITY Early April the following year. HANDY TIP Cauliflowers dislike a check in growth. It can pay to sow the seed in peat pots instead of a seed bed. |
