WHEN TO SOW
July and August.
WHERE TO SOW
Sow the seeds thinly in a well prepared seed bed in shallow drills 2cm deep. Keep well watered.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Thin the seedlings as they appear to 5cm apart. When the seedlings are about 10-15cm tall, transplant to the growing site 35-40cm apart. Set the young plants 2cm deeper than they were in the seed bed.
MATURITY
March onwards.
HANDY TIP
One problem with F1 hybrid Cabbages is their tendency to all mature at the same time. This variety holds well to give a longer cutting period. |
